Lobe Earrings From Studs to Statement Pieces

Studs and Hoops for Everyday Lobes

For regular earlobe piercings, our 20G titanium opal studs in white, aqua, and purple are nickel-free and light enough for all-day wear. Surgical steel studs with turquoise, amethyst, jade, or tiger's eye add natural color. For hoops, choose an 18G hinged hoop set with CZ stones, a 16G triple-layered hinge ring, or a simple captive bead ring.

Organic Horn and Wood Earrings

Our 16G organic earrings are carved from natural materials, including a water buffalo horn angel wing design and a hand-carved sono wood tribal ornament. Because horn and wood are natural, each piece varies slightly in color and grain. These are made for fully healed lobes, not fresh piercings.

Lobe Piercing Jewelry Gauges and Stretched Lobes

Standard lobe piercings usually take 20G or 18G earrings, and many piercers use 16G. If you want the look of a stretched lobe without stretching, fake plugs sit in a regular 16G piercing. For stretched ears, see 10G tunnels and more in ear gauges. Not sure of your size? See our body jewelry gauge size chart, or ask your piercer to confirm your gauge and fit.

Lobe Piercing Jewelry FAQ

How do I care for horn and wood earrings?

Keep organic earrings dry. Take them out before showering or swimming, and wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Soaking or cleaning them with alcohol can dry out or crack natural materials. Wear them in fully healed lobes only.

Can I stretch my earlobes?

Yes. Stretching is done gradually with tapers, going up one size at a time and waiting between sizes. Our black acrylic tapers run from 12G to 1/2", and 10G tunnels and fake plugs are in ear gauges. Your piercer can help you plan your pace.

What lobe earrings are best if my ears are sensitive?
