Nose Studs in Every Shape and Setting

Titanium Nose Studs for Sensitive Nostrils

Titanium is lightweight and nickel-free, which makes it a good pick if other metals leave your nostril red or itchy. Our titanium nose studs come as corkscrews with a ball, dome, or spike top, L-bend studs with 2mm or 3mm CZ gems, and corkscrews set with a 2.5mm opal. For a budget-friendly option, surgical steel nose studs come in silver, gold, rose gold, and black finishes.

Corkscrew, L-Bend, or Nose Bone?

The post shape decides how a nose stud stays in. A corkscrew (also called a nose screw) twists in and holds the most securely, so it rarely falls out while you sleep. An L-bend has a single right-angle bend that slides in easily and is simple to swap. A nose bone is a straight post with a small ball end that pushes through, giving the flattest fit. If you're changing studs often, start with an L-bend; if you lose studs easily, choose a corkscrew.

18G and 20G Nose Studs, Plus a Tiny 22G Option

Most nostril piercings are done at 18G or 20G, and most of our nose studs come in one or both. The 20G studs are slimmer and a common fit for piercings done with a thinner needle, while our 22G opal corkscrew suits very small piercings. Tops range from a tiny 2mm gem to a bolder 3mm stone. Nose Studs FAQ

How do I put in a corkscrew nose stud?

Put the tip of the post into your piercing from the outside, then slowly twist the stud clockwise so the curve follows the path inside your nostril. Stop when the top sits flat. A mirror and clean hands make it easier, and it gets quicker with practice.

Why does my nose stud keep falling out?

An L-bend or a stud that's thinner than your piercing can slip out, especially while you sleep. Try a corkscrew, which twists in and holds more securely, and make sure the gauge matches the one you were pierced with.

Can I wear a labret stud in my nostril?

Yes, if your nostril was pierced at the same gauge. Our flat-back labrets are mostly 16G, which is thicker than the 18G or 20G most nostrils are pierced at, so they suit nostrils pierced at 16G. Your piercer can confirm your gauge.
