Steel Nose Rings for Everyday Wear

Tough, Polished, and Easy on the Budget

Surgical steel is hard-wearing, keeps its shine, and doesn't tarnish, which makes it a practical everyday nose ring. It also costs less than titanium, so it's easy to own a few styles and switch between them. Steel does contain a small amount of nickel bound into the alloy. Many people wear it without trouble in a healed nostril, but if steel has irritated your skin before, our titanium nose rings are nickel-free. The colored pieces here have a PVD coating over steel, which holds up well but can wear with time.

Stainless Steel Nose Studs, Hoops, and Nose Bones

For studs, choose an L-bend that slides in and out easily, a corkscrew that twists in and holds firmly, or a nose bone with a small ball end that keeps it in place. Tops include 2mm and 3mm CZ gems, opals, a heart, and a bat. For hoops, there are hinged rings that click shut, including one paved with CZ stones, open hoops you can adjust by hand, bendable hoops lined with rows of CZ gems, and a twisted hoop with a gem ball.

Surgical Steel Nose Ring Sizes: 16G to 22G

Most nostrils are pierced at 18G or 20G, and nearly every style here comes in one or both. For a thicker piercing, the hinged fixed-ball ring and the triple-layered hinged hoop come in 16G, and for a very fine piercing there's a 22G corkscrew with a multicolor opal. Hoops are measured by inner diameter; 5/16" (8mm) sits close to the nostril, and larger sizes hang lower. Match the gauge you wear now so the ring doesn't slip or feel tight. Not sure of your size?
